Pavilion I - subtropical vegetation

Description

In this pavilion we may see the subtropical plants. It is the central building joining the tropical plants and the Mediterranean plants pavilions. The main plants there are creepers and palms. The most interesting and the most valuable plants of the place are a couple of species of Cycas rumphii, the palms: Arenga pinnata, Woydetia bifurcata and the impressive 18 metres tall date palm Phoenix dactylifera. The pavilion walls are covered with the expansive Tetrastigma voinerianum creeper.
