Pavilion VIII - rainforest undergrowth

Description

The specially lifted and warmed ledges made it possible to grow fine species of undergrowth of the rainforest such as begonias, pineapple-likes, marantas and fine ferns. There is also a rich collection of blossoming orchids with the utilitarian species - Vanilla planifolia among them. The part of the pavilion is taken by the collection of tree ferns and cycads with the spectacularly blossoming  male Cycas circinalis. The plants here show the character of the ancient geological ages.
